| FERDIS (2 sub-boards)
The city of Ferdis is where the majority of the Humans dwell. It is the largest city in all of Illicag, being ruled over by the Murkrule bloodline. Guards patrol the large city in order to keep the crime rate as low as possible. Thieves run wild throughout the city so it would be best to keep a tight grasp on all your valuables especially when on the streets. POPULATION 60521

This was once the capitol city of the Sorcerers. It is a majestic and bright city full of life. Children play without worry in the streets while their parents go about their daily jobs. There is a very low rate of poverty in the city, as the people do their best to help their neighbors in troublesome times. POPULATION 36869

| TEMPLE OF HERNA
This temple devoted to the Goddess of Magic is located deep within a nearby forest. It is old and in need of some repair but that doesn't stop people from going there to worship the Goddess. It would be wise to bring some sort of offering if you are asking for help. Even the smallest of things are appreciated.

| TASEGARA
This small farming community is located near Isa's Fall, being the village that she gave her life to protect. The people are very kind and constantly tell stories of the great Isa. They have even gone as far as building a statue of the heroine. Visitors are always welcome and will most likely be surrounded with the villagers story telling. POPULATION 714

| ISA'S FALL
Legend tells that centuries ago, a great Sorceress known as Isa Rundon met her end here when she took out a horde of rampaging orcs as she exploded her own life force. The act saved a nearby village and many say that the Waterfall is blessed now. Many come to bathe in the waters in hopes that Isa's spirit will help them with their troubled lives.

| THE CLIFFS (1 sub-board)
These cliffs are along the great Sea of Trasa. The waters are nearly always calm like the rest of the Light realm. Many come to these cliffs to enjoy the view which is particularly lovely at sunrise and sunset. Many merchant ships can also be seen traveling the calm waters.

This lively town is commonly called the Wine Town, largely due to the amount of quality wine that comes from it. There are festivals in celebration of the drink quite often and with so much wine at arms reach, there are more than a handful of town drunks that make things interesting. The docks make this town a popular place for merchants and trading. POPULATION 7323

| VALA
The small city is one of the few places in the country that isn't entirely safe to visit. There's been quite the uproar over the union of the Human King and the Sorceress. The Sundi are rumored to be based out of this reckless city though there is little proof to support this. Crime is high but the guards are doing what they can to calm things down before it gets out of hand.POPULATION 12539

| WILDERNESS
Away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, the wilderness includes many miles of farmland, lakes, rivers, and rolling hills. Every now and then you may come across a small village if you are in need of food, shelter, or healing. Some creatures roam as well but for the most part, they are gentle, non-hostile beings.

| CATACOMBS (3 sub-boards)
Deep under ground, these passages serve as the Vampire City. They are able to function at all hours without having to worry about the sun turning them to dust. It has everything a normal city would, minus the sunlight. There is only one entrance to the city, being a very large set of stairs in the side of a hill. POPULATION 1356

| VAULT OF THE VAMPIRE
Forgotten for over a century, this underground vault holds the body of the First Vampire. He is literally frozen within a floating stone, trapped long ago by the goddess Nataz. He has been frozen in time for thousands of years, waiting for someone to find the power to unleash him. Many vampires come here to be in the presence of the First and hope that they can somehow break his curse.

| VULRIK'S TOWER
Located on the top of one of the many hills, this tower is said to be cursed. It is falling into ruins yet the legend remains of an Archlich said to live in a secret room of the tower. So why is it cursed? Those who enter the tower rarely return, with only one person ever making it out alive. The area around the tower is filled with large, white rocks with odd symbols on them.

| SNOWY MOUNTAINS
Just as the name suggests, these mountains are covered in snow and many dangerous creatures lurk in the passages. There are a few small villages scattered along the base and these mountains are those said to be watched over by Elsa Kril. If you are pure of heart and passing through, you can bet her spirit will aid and guard you during your travels. POPULATION 418

| WILDERNESS
The landscape in the Unholy Hills is varied. Most of the land is made up of hills, with the Vampire City being built underneath them. There is one river that passes through near the entrance to the city but is only frequented by the locals during the daylight hours. Since the vampires rule the area, there are only two small villages located near the borders.

| K R A G S P E A K |
| LOST PROVINCE
Here lies the skeleton of a once great city of Man. It has been in ruins for nearly a century, being destroyed by the god Othello when the people began to lose their faith. Goblins hang around this area quite often and have been known to attack anyone that passes by. Still, many travelers find it a decent place to stop for the night, if they can avoid the goblins and their arrows.

| GARAMOND
This well protected town is where the largest population of werewolves dwell. It is not easy just to walk right in and make yourself at home, as guards are always on the lookout. If you are a friend, you will be welcomed with open arms but the enemies might want to get use to being chased away by wolves. POPULATION 966

| EASTERN FOREST
The great pack of werewolves has called this forest home for many hundreds of years. There is not a night that goes by that you don't hear their howls to the moon. It is not wise to travel through these ancient woods on a full moon and those that do are taking a great risk on their precious lives.

| THE LABYRINTH
Located in a clearing, this labyrinth was built years ago for both entertainment and as a testing ground for the young men in the village. Any enemies that are caught are let loose in the labyrinth. The young men that are coming of age are then set loose in the maze as well and the one who finds the enemy first earns the respect of the town. When not in use, some find it peaceful to weave through.

| AEROCH NOR (1 sub-board)
This hamlet is nothing but a spot in the road to most people, but for those that live there, it is home. The very small village is taken care of by an elderly priestess by the name of Oola who also runs the local temple. It may not be much, but the people are friendly and will welcome strangers with open arms. POPULATION 60

| WILDERNESS
Shared by the kingdoms of both human and wolf, the wilderness in Kragspeak is as varied as those that occupy it. There are small forests, creeks, and a fair bit of farmland for those that wish to make an honest living. In the south, there is a small mountain range mainly used as a shortcut for messengers.

| AHERDAUR
The realm of the Elves is found deep within the heart of the forest. The great city of the wise is built up within the trees, with elegant staircases winding up into the canopies. The city is always calm and serene and a small, sparkling stream runs along the ground beneath it. POPULATION 13882

| MAGIC CAVERN
This cave is located near the Elven city. Colorful crystals of every color imaginable sparkle against the cavern walls. Some are magical while others are just beautiful pieces to use in jewelry. Craftsman and blacksmiths creep in here often to snag one of the crystals to use in their weapons, hoping that the one they choose will be one of the magical few.

| THE GREAT LAKE
This lake is one of the largest both in the forest and in all of Illicag. There are many stories about how the lake was formed. Some believe a great sorcerer blessed the area and created the lake, other believe that the Gods themselves scooped up the earth to create it. Whatever one believes in, the lake has always been there. It’s often a spot most travelers will stop by, not only for rest but also the chance to see the nymph that lives in the waters. Most people know her by “The Lady of the Lake”.

| FAIRY KINGDOM
Like the Elven city, the Fairy kingdom is built around nature, rather than destroying it. But unlike the serene elves, the Fairy Kingdom is lively and loud. Music is almost constantly heard and festivals are held weekly. Visitors are always welcome with a great meal and very much encouraged to join in the festivities. POPULATION 2,013

| RAVTHANA LAKE
Located in the middle of the Enchanted Forest, this cursed lake is frozen solid all year round. The ice is so clear that you can see the poor creature trapped beneath it. Centuries ago, Tamat tricked a beautiful blue haired mermaid named Ravthana into playing a game. When Ravthana lost, Tamat froze the lake over her as punishment. To this day, you can still watch Ravthana swimming around below you and occasionally she will try to communicate.

| THE FOREST
When away from the civilized areas, the forest is filled with all sorts of life. Animals and strange creatures alike wonder the land. Lucky for us, the most dangerous thing in the wild forest is probably some of the crazy mushrooms that could put you into a coma for weeks.

| BUCKLEBERRY FERN (1 sub-board)
Located in the rolling green hills of Ratbee, Buckleberry Fern is the largest of the Halfling settlements in Illicag. The homes are built into the hills [think Hobbiton] and the community largely revolves around farming and fishing. Halfling folk are jolly and friendly and you likely won't have a problem finding any aid in town that you may need. POPULATION 1134

| MANNYGROVE RIVER
Just a short walk from the town of Buckleberry Fern, this river is a key fishing location for the locals. It is not a large river but it turns up a good amount of fish for those that choose to try here. There is an old, stone bridge that spans the width of the river and is a popular wedding spot.

| OLD DRAGON WOODS
Though the land in Ratbee is mostly made of hills, there is a small wooded area to the South of Buckleberry Fern. As the name suggests, legend says an ancient copper dragon use to lurk in the area but he has not been seen for nearly six thousand years. Still, the woods have kept the name and remained quiet and virtually monster free.

| MAPLEFORGE (1 sub-board)
This small halfling village is located on the far side of the Old Dragon Wood, opposite to Buckleberry Fern. Thought it is not as large as the other town, it is just as lively. Farming is the key to the community and they do their fishing at a small creek that flows just to the west of the small town. POPULATION 592

| WILDERNESS
Ratbee is a land of rolling hills, sparkling rivers, and a small bit of forest area. Halflings inhabit the area and though it would be rare, you may stumble upon the occasional human dwelling. Do not worry during your travels through the land as there are very few dangers while the land remains untouched by most common troubles.

| ENID (3 sub-boards)
High up in the clouds, this is the home of the Gods. No humans/earthly beings are allowed here unless a God or Goddess has taken them up with them. It is breathtakingly beautiful, with magnificent buildings built on top of the white clouds. The majority of all the Gods live up here but there are a select few that don't.

| THE NINE HELLS (1 sub-board)
This is one place that very few venture to, even the gods. There are nine levels of hell here, the lower you get, the worse it gets. Modeus lives here, as do a few of the other less than pleasant gods and goddesses. It is dark, gloomy, and absent of happiness. No earthly being has ever ventured here and returned.

| NINIAN -- HALL OF HEROES
This is home to all the fallen heroes of the world. Once the brave are dead, their spirits pass here to continue on. There are beautiful meadows, sparkling streams, and roads paved with gold and silver. Some Gods enjoy an occasional chat with some of the heroes that are worthy of a place here.
