Sleep until the ungodly hour of the afternoon. After all, if he wasn't doing that, that meant he was out doing something stupid- which leads to his elder sibling to chase after him and keep himself out of trouble- not that he couldn't get out of it. But in the morning, when the early day was breaking, and the sun was in the sky (not that he could see them), there was only one thing he would be seen doing... sleeping. Naturally, but instead of being out at some girl's house, he was, for once in a long while, actually at home, on his own bed, with his own sheets, sleeping in his birthday suit. Ah joys of the unemployed, he was on break.
Rolling over on to his stomach with a grunt, he shifted in the mattress, taking a deep breath as he snuggled closed to the pillow, hugging it like without it he couldn't sleep. It took a few seconds after the move before his eyes flickered over, blearily looking around with annoyance as he let out a yawn. Groaning, he snuggled deep against the pillow, trying to chase his sleep before it disappeared once more. Too late. It was already gone.
Muttering something under his breath, he lifted his head and looked around for a moment, recognizing the contents of his bedroom before rolling around back on his back, staring at the ceiling with disinterest. His lips were pressed together to hold back a second long yawn. He stretched after a moment, silent as he listened to the sounds of the house, wondering if his brother was still in at the time. 'Dion!' he yelled loudly, refusing to get up and find him. In fact, he refused to do anything at the moment. He was comfortable, tired, and it was morning- what could he possibly do at this time. 'Are you still here?!' he called out, not that he wanted anything, he was just checking.

It came from hunting vampires, who generally could only roam the world at night. That's where he was this morning, asleep spread eagle on his bed, happily ignoring the sun as it rose and warmed his back. He was in the middle of a wonderful dream – three gorgeous girls and him having a pillow fight – when he was woken up by something. It took him a minute to register that it was his little brother, calling his name. With a sigh, he found himself too awake to go back to sleep to ignore him. And then the second call, asking if he was here. Where else would he be? He never stayed the night with the girls he found for company in bed. It was too close to commitment, actually sleeping together with just one other person.
He grumbled as he stood, stretching and yawning. He didn't bother answering the question yet, simply pulling on a loose pair of pants and heading over to his brothers doorway. He stood there a moment, silently, before pushing it open and pouncing on the unsuspecting form of his younger brother. He used his height to pin him down, grinning into his face. “Nope. Found a girl, fell in love, and moved in with her.” He laughed, rolling off him and laying on the bed beside him. “So, now you've woken me up, which was a terrible thing to do, with the dream I was having, did you actually need anything? Or just want to share your lack of sleep with me?” He poked his brother's side playfully, still giving a smirking smile. “Not very nice, I'm older than you, and we old folks need sleep, you know.” It felt so good for him to relax with his brother. Sure, he was doing it in a very complaining manner, but it was things like this that kept them so close, and he wouldn't give it up for the world.

He figured that it was most likely it was the second due to the fact that he wasn't a heavy sleeper, and had he was actually in the house, he would have at least yelled back. Then again, Cresil recalled that his elder brother never exactly always responded when he called him. He was evil like that sometimes, but at least he stuck around. Always.
Groaning, he rolled over again and stuffed his face back into the pillow when his question was repeated back to him, clearly giving him the answer he seeked without having to utter a word. His brown eyes slowly shut again as he evened out his breathing, his shoulders rising and falling with his breath as he tried to lull himself back to sleep- wiling himself not to move or else it would never creep back to him and cover him in its embrace.
Well, sleep may not have greeted him, but a bigger, obnoxiously heavy body did, flinging itself at the unclothed body that was trying to chase sleep. With a wild yell, he tried twisting around, trying to push his bigger brother off with no avil. It was true they were close of age, but while he was flat on his stomach, it was clear that he couldn't throw off the brother that had him pinned. With a groan, he shifted and tossed his elbow in the direction of his brother's face once he let go. 'Freak,' he muttered tiredly, rubbing his eyes as the mattress bounced when Dion rolled off him.
'If I can't sleep, it's unfair that you can. Sorry about your wet dream-' he muttered, glaring at his fairly carefree brother. He rolled his eyes, envious because of it. Really now. He smacked him on the chest and flipped on his back, groaning again. 'Got a job for us? I need something to do,' he asked. When he wasn't sleeping, he was doing something- kept his mind off things.

His over the top enthusiasm was fading with his brother's foul mood. He hated days like these, when Cresil had had a bad night, when he hated the world, when his sense of humor was gone. He knew everyone had days like these, but Cresil had had more of his fair share ever since... It wasn't something Dion could relate to, exactly, but he still felt deeply for his brother, and knew he should be there for him, whatever he was going through.
“Cresil... I think we should take a few weeks off work. Vacation time. We've had jobs most weeks for a while now, and I don't know about you, but I'd like some time to relax, just lean back, maybe go camping in the Eastern Forest.” he smiled, nudging his brother's side as he spoke. “Come on, we haven't gone out for a guys week in ages. Just you, me, the elements, and hunting wild game instead of risking our lives. Sounds good, right?” If finding a random bed mate wasn't cheering Cresil up, maybe this would. It was always a good idea at the very least, and maybe some time away from the confines of the town would let him unwind. Hunting for sport was always less stressful than their jobs, too.
Planning this trip would be the least he could do for his brother. A forced vacation somewhere it wouldn't be odd to see a pair of wolves off doing their own thing, where they could maybe talk things over again, where they could have privacy larger than there small house.

He stared intently at the bed frame before he suddenly crossed his arms and rested his forehead against his brother's shoulder, closing his eyes with a groan as he pulled the covers over his head. While Dion's guess was right on Cresil's fairly horrid night, he also knew his younger brother was a grump waking up in the morning. In fact, a lot of people knew how rash he was when he woke up earlier then he should or when he didn't get an obnoxious amount of hours in when he wasn't needed to do something else. That was old news.
But as his words started to register into Cresil's mind, his eyes snapped open and peeked out from the sheet, staring at his brother with a pout. He had that urge to whine at the thought, complain that he needed work- he needed something to hunt, he needed to do actions and movements with the idea that if he failed- well, bad things happen. But his gaze settled on his brother's light smile and he sighed, looking down before grunting out a short 'fine'. They were facts that he couldn't deny, they have been working harder with less breaks in between and while he knew that he should slow down and relax for a few days that didn't involve sleeping in shifts, he wouldn't admit it out loud. And his brother, being a big brother, was only trying to cheer him up. The thought made his face twist into a small scowl, annoyed. It wasn't the first time that, out of sheer defense and loss, blurted out that he didn't want his brother to try to be understanding because he had no idea what he had gone through. He didn't mean it, but sometimes words slip by (sometimes more often then others) without passing his head for confirmation first.
Rolling over so he was sprawled over the bed as he used his brother as a mattress, he chuckled dryly. 'Now that I think about it, it's not a bad idea. You could use a break, you've been slacking during work and I have to take point and cover your lazy bum,' he scoffed jokingly, knowing his brother hated it when he acted moody. 'I mean, I always knew that I was better then you, but before, at least you put a fight in proving me wrong- now you're just not even trying!' he accused, trying to lighten the mood. He shot his brother a smug smile.
