The moon hung high in the sky as Wilneiros rushed toward the small stream that was located just outside the city of Ferdis. It had always been he and Dacia's chosen meeting place when they had to sneak away from the eyes of the guards and citizens. Getting caught with a stable boy was certainly not something that Wilneiros wanted Dacia to have to go through, as he knew it would completely tear apart her reputation and bring shame to the family name. The air was slightly cool though the dark cloak that he wore kept him warm enough to endure the night. He was a bit ashamed of himself that he hadn't any gifts to bestow upon Dacia on this night as he usually did. He would come with necklaces, rings, flowers, and sweets but tonight, he had nothing because the little money he made with his job at the castle went toward supporting his family.
He sighed softly as he reached the calm stream and quickly lowered himself down on the edge. It was a beautiful night. Not only was the moon shining brightly but the velvet sky was dotted with gleaming stars. "Seems Nataz is in a good mood tonight," he spoke to himself, a soft smile twitching at the corners of his mouth. Though he didn't worship the goddess on a regular basis, he respected her as he did all the gods, even those that had to rule over such terrible things as suffering and lies. Everything had their place in the world, both dark and light included.
Leaning forward, he stuck his hand out and brushed his fingers over the top of the slowly flowing stream. The water was chilly as he expected and he cupped his hands to gather some and brought it to his lips. It was refreshing though it did send goosebumps crawling over his skin. Wiping his chilled hands off on his trousers, he pulled the cloak tighter around himself as he looked around, hoping that Dacia would arrive soon. He did worry a bit about her sneaking around at night alone. The world was a cruel place, especially for a young girl. He couldn't imagine how he would react if he found out that any harm came to her while she was on her way to meet him. Surely, he would lose his mind. But for now, he pushed such thoughts from his mind.
It had been too long since they had a night to themselves, a night that they didn't have to sneak around in the castle or the stables. Tonight, they were alone and that was just how he liked it.

Tonight Dacia was attempting to pass off for a boy, it was always safer to do that. She had heard rumors about someone being robbed so she wanted to make sure she was going to be okay. She also wanted to make sure she didn’t look like an upper class boy but just a regular commoner boy. She had borrowed the clothing from one of the servant boys in the castle. She promised that she would buy some better clothing for him when she went out, in exchange for the one outfit. The one problem was that the clothing was a bit large for her. But, that did help to cover her up. She was only fifteen, yes, but she still showed off signs of a womanly figure. The baggy pants and shirt helped to cover it up, or so she hoped. Plus, the large hat that was holding her hair up was also helping with the whole boy look. But one thing might give her away, her face. It still gave off her feminine features, nothing she could change. She just hoped that she would be passed off as a young boy. Some younger boys have feminine features to them so perhaps she would just be mistaken as one of them.
Dacia was basically an expert on how to sneak out from the castle. She had so much practice at it, and not all of it was to go out and see Will. Sometime she just needed a night away from everything. She wasn’t totally stuck inside all day, she was aloud out in the market place during the day. But she was required to have a guard with her at all times. And if her Father felt like it was unsafe the she was to have two or more along with her. It got annoying after awhile, so sometimes just going out on her own was a nice break.
As Dacia finally made her way towards their meeting spot her heart began to speed up, like it often did when she saw Will. And once she finally reached there spot she paused for a moment to look over at him. He was perfect, in every way possible. And here she was showing up dressed in boys clothing. He deserved something better than that. She should be coming to him in one of her best dresses, looking breath taking. That was what he deserved, not this. She hesitantly took a step forward, hoping he would hear her. “Hi Will,” she said softly. “I’m sorry I’m coming to you like this...” she said trying to make it up to him somehow.
NOTES: I’m in school so I can’t make it pretty....but I will make it pretty soon!!

Wil was patient as he waited for the young princess to find her way to their spot, occupying his time with humming an old sailor's tune that his father had taught to him years ago. Thankfully, it didn't take too long for Dacia to find him and when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching, he immediately turned his head and the sight that he saw brought a large smile to his face. Though she was cleverly disguised as a common boy, he knew by her face that it was her and instantly sprung to his feet. He shook his head quickly at her words as he made his way over to her, not hesitating to wrap his arms around her small frame. "You look beautiful. You have nothing to apologize for," he replied quietly, taking that moment to place a gentle, light kiss on her lips.
Though he was fine with how she was dressed, he did reach up and pull the hat off of her head, letting her blonde hair spill out over her shoulders. "Much better now," he added with a slight grin, dropping the hat at their feet. He always did love her hair. It was the same dirty blonde as his own and though hers was a bit unkept after being tucked into that hat, it was still beautiful like the rest of her. "I have something for you." He said quickly, a slight grin tugging at the corners of his lips. It was very common for him to bring her gifts when they met up like this. Unfortunately, he couldn't afford to bring her precious gems and expensive jewelry with the amount of money that he made. But it was the thougth that counted, right?
Reaching his hand into a pocket in his pants, he brought it out in a fist, the gift hidden away in the palm of his hand. With the smile still on his face he took her hand gently and set the gift down carefully in her palm. He had found the stone days ago when he was fishing at the river and though he wasn't sure what kind it was, it was too striking to pass up and he immediately knew who he would give it to. "I found it along the river a few days ago. I thought you'd like it," he spoke quietly, leaning down to place another soft kiss on her forehead.
