♕ SAVAN AMARANDA DARAY i hide in the shadows, i long for the light; for i am a vampire, imprisoned by night. the moon is my sun, the night is my day, for blood is my life, and you are my prey
Savan tilted his head upward, his dark brown gaze sliding from one direction to another as he approached the small town of Vala. Hitching the elf up further he slowed his steps as he snorted bitterly. Vala was mostly a small town with rolling countrysides, once green and beautiful. Thin woods fringed the town but not dark enough for him to slip through without being unnoticed. Despite the late time of the night, he would rather be against the shadows then out in the open. He could smell fresh meat and well able bodies scattered about- all of their scents overpowering him for a moment as he stopped short in his tracks and shook his head lightly, the matted ropes of his hair twisting wildly before dropping slack. He hesitated and cursed the sisters, the town, and the smell of blood that seemed to be everywhere. He was lucky that they lived around the outskirts, it meant less work for him.
Never before had he ever tried to control his cravings and need- that sort of control came with age and the stubbornness of not wanting to feed no matter what- Savan had time, he had a lot of it, unfortunately he always succumbed to temptation. Why resist what he could easily take away? It's a gift depending on how one looks at it. He had long past the time where he sulked at the thought of no longer being human, and now the were the few beings that seem to annoy him the most. How easy things are now, no emotions, no fear, no thoughts of growing old and ugly. Living forever had a price, but he was willing to deal with it. He licked his lips anyways- perhaps after he dropped her off, he could indulge himself in something nice- something that screamed. Loudly.
Grunting quietly, he skittered to the side and walked down the worn path to the known line that divided the land from the darkness to the light. His eyes turned and lingered on the sky- the dark clouds that protected him from simply combusting and turning into a pile of ashes. He leveled his gaze and walked around the edges of the small town before he slowed once more and approached the familiar smell that greeted his nose- the smell of various potions lingered and clung to every dirty and stone around the particular house that he had his eyes on. He had come her once or twice for a potion or two- maybe that and something more, the elf didn't have to know what happened between them.
After a moment of silence, he allowed Liluth to slip off his back, bending his knees so she could ease off him easily. He gave her a pointed, calculatingly cold look before looking back to the door and knocking on it in three sharp, impatiently knocks. He dropped his hand and took a step back, adopting the standard expression of indifference on his face as he waited for a response, his head tilted to the side as one arm moved over Liluth's shoulders in a territorial manner.

When it was early in the morning before the sun had risen and her sister had been setting her bed on fire the evening before complaining about “Stupid girls wanting love potions!” it was a sign she wasn't quite in the mood for speaking calmly to whoever was here. So it was Id put down her quill, taking a moment to make sure the inventory was not about to get smudged before she stood and calmly walked to the door. One hand made sure her hair was piled on her head still, that there were no strands fallen out of the design, and then she opened the door.
She saw someone she hadn't been expecting, not one of the other people living in the town, but a vampire, a very familiar vampire, and she was grateful for her sister's being in the other room, so she was first to the door. It took her a second to see that the vampire had brought something- someone with him. A girl, an elf girl. She rose a brow looking at him before motioning to the door. “Please miss, you may go in.” She watched the elf eagerly go inside before shutting the door. She would be safe enough with her sister. She'd hardly harm an elf on purpose, even one brought by a vampire.
“So, Savan. I take it this isn't for a new poison this time. You've found yourself a pet. Odd, but I'd never pictured you as the type to take a liking to anyone.” the words were spoke as courtesy, like speaking about the weather, she knew he'd tell her what he was doing here with the pretty little elf, and in his own time. But she couldn't help the comments, It was her way of constantly daring him. “She is a very pretty little thing, such a contrast to you, being so light while you are ever dark.” A dangerous game to play with a vampire, but he was here because he wanted something, and she couldn't do it for him dead. A little taunting never hurt, she doubted he would kill her now, when their relationship such as it was was so beneficial to him. Another night, she wouldn't be able to say the same, but another night would find her silent and obedient. [/style] |

♕ SAVAN AMARANDA DARAY i hide in the shadows, i long for the light; for i am a vampire, imprisoned by night. the moon is my sun, the night is my day, for blood is my life, and you are my prey
Savan's lips curled as the door opened. Right off the bat he knew who it was, had it been anyone else he would have been on fire already. Plus the lack of some sort of emotion that was on her pale features already told him enough. Letting his hand drop as Idinoke addressed her, he nudged her ahead without a word. Not that he needed to, she scurried inside without a word to him nor a backwards glance. His eyes followed her moving figure before the door was shut, leaving just her in his presence. He took a step back from her and pulled the hood back as he wrapped the cloak fully around his body. He gave the sorcerer a leveled look before he suddenly broke into a dark smile, the look often creating an off contrast to his fragile-looking features. 'A liking, it is just that, short and simple- the lovely unholy hills provide enough vampires if you're looking for any- however I find their company a bit... dull, their sense of adventure... dead, the air they carry themselves with.. cold,' he drawled slowly as his eyes hovered over the landscape of the small little town.
His eyes turned to the young witch, noting the challenge in her voice. When he replied to her his tone was darker instead of challenging. 'Didn't a great philosopher once say that without the dark, such thing as the light can't exist? One can never live without the other-' he shrugged after a moment, not even planning on protesting her words- they were true, it was what drew him to this elf, she was young and innocent and how symbolic would it be if someone as dark and cold as himself simply snuffed out a warm flickering light as herself. Can all the darkness in the world put out the flame of a single candle? Interesting question that is. He was rather sick of the humans, always proclaiming that good always prevailed evil.
Turning his head at the sound of the other twin's voice, he snorted. 'Ask her yourself,' he called back, just loud enough for his voice to carry through, he turned to the sister outside and smiled slightly, displaying his teeth, razor sharp and deadly. 'I see you two haven't changed at all,' he drawled conversationally, tipping his head to the side. 'I brought her here because I need you to watch her until she heals,' he said slowly, he expected them to agree, with a little persuading or not- but surely Id could do it, simply because of their past and the fact that he paid them well. Not to mention the few times he had pulled some strings for them.
