Being King isn't always the walk in the forest people always expect it to be.  But after countless centuries of rule, Ironaus has kept the Elven realm in a state of relative peace.   He has ruled with a level head and a calculating mind.  In his younger days, Ironaus traveled much of the lands.  He met and made many friends and enemies.  He does believe this has helped in how he rules the realm.  The current desire to keep out of the war is starting to wane.  While Ironaus does still want to avoid a war that the mortals started, the call for aid is weighing more heavily on his mind with each day.  War is something he is more familiar with than some of his people seem to realize.  He truly wants to avoid the blood shed, in spite of his darker side calling for action.

Close friends are pretty much his family, the people that he trained under as a boy, not limited solely to the Elven race, and old comrades from past wars.  Iro values honesty and daring the most in a person.  He gravitates to strong minded or strong hearted people.  Trust is not something Iro easily gives, but he is a loyal ally to those that he does.  Iro loves to drink good wine and go on a fishing trip from time to time.  His cool smile is not seen when he called on for serious matters.  The grim countenance wears on him, but he is very aware of how delicate things are now. When not in council, Iro could easily be described as oddly jovial for an elf.

Iro is very close to his family.  His sons and daughters he would die for.  They are one of the main reasons he is desperately trying to avoid becoming involved in the mortals' struggle.

So, where to begin with this? A few things are obvious: She's his youngest daughter, adores him, etc. But then we come to the fact she is currently masquerading as a human and serving as a handmaiden for Queen Pandora. Who is kind of in the middle of this war her father is staying away from. Not sure where you'd want to go with this, if she's doing it in secret/without his permission, taking advantage of the fact she's the youngest, and can make up easy excuses for where she was; or if she has his blessing in this, as he can understand the desire to travel/meet people/have a little bit of an adventure. Well, Nina is an adviser in the court, kinda learning the ropes, you know. She's pretty young, compared to everyone else, but she's learning, having always believed that it's the experiences is also what makes you wise and not just age. Despite that, she completely looks up to him, to her he's like a role model. However, unlike him, she believes that they should go to war for other reasons. Not sure what he thinks about her, though since she's almost a kid compared to everyone else, but she really has a thirst for knowledge and things.[/blockquote]

Aldruak is Ironaus youngest son but not his youngest child. He thinks the elves should prepare them selves for the war, believing that it was only time before Panthea attacks the forest. He does look up to his father and some day hopes to be a strong man and father like him. If you have any ideas let me know. [/blockquote]
