SITE RULES

I don't like having too many rules and most of them are pretty basic. Please do your best to follow them because I really don't want to have to get on anyone's ass about breaking them and what not.

GENERAL

[001] I want no bitching and arguing in CBOX. A little is fine but there's a point where it needs to be taken somewhere else. You should know when this is but don't be offended if a staff member happens to tell you to shut your trap.

[002] I won't tolerate hate. If you come on here just to spread it and be an ass to everyone, you'll be banned. You get two warnings. Third time's a charm and you'll be gone for good.

[003] We're a Fantasy setting so please keep that in mind.

[004] Graphic sizes can be up to 500x300 for Signatures, 150x200 for Avatars/Icons.

ROLEPLAYING

[001] I don't like being too strict with posting since I know people get busy and can't always manage a post every week. We ask that you post once every two weeks with each character you own.

[002] Try to keep a balance between male/female and canon/original. If you have three characters, at least one needs to be a male. Six charries? At least two need to be male. With canons, you are allowed two and no more. Everybody should have a chance to play one of them.

[003] We do not have a character limit but if we see that you can't keep up with the ones that you have, we will ask you to drop one or two of the lesser used ones.

[004] Any extreme plots will need to be cleared with Staff. This includes character deaths, pregnancies, major rebel attacks, etc. If you're not sure if you need permission, it would be best to ask us anyway to avoid complications.

[005] If you're taking a canon, we ask that you remain active with them. It's dreadful to have someone in a needed role that is never around to post on the board. If you find you don't have time anymore, please let us know so the spot can be open for another to take.

[006] If you're wishing to form some sort of group [whether it is an Assassins Guild, a traveling circus, or a group of mercenaries], we ask that you run it by the staff first just so we know what sort of groups are running around.

[007] We hold a PG-13 rating. If you are planning on doing anything extreme such as a sex scene, we ask that you fade to black before anything above our set rating plays out. Not everyone likes to see smut and we must go along with Proboards rules.

[008] Word count of 350. We won't harpoon you if you hit a little less than that but please try to always get to that mark.

[009] We will allow what is known as Rapid Fire Threads here on KC. These threads do not have to meet the required word count and are mainly used to quickly get plots moving when needed. We ask that you keep a balance between Rapid Fire Threads and normal ones. If you're doing a Rapid Fire Thread, please state so in the title.
