But what if you didn't even realize that these changes were happening because they were taking place in a parallel universe that you are not even aware of?
You think you know a story...but you only know how it happened in your universe. Join us to find out how life played out in two other universes where Henry VIII's reign didn't take it's blood historical turn.
One of the two universes is set in 1532 and has Henry as King, with Katherine of Aragon as Queen, and Anne Boleyn as Princess Consort and mother of his son Arthur. The King is pushing for an annulment as he is no longer happy with the dispensation allowing him to marry again. The Reformists, Anne among them, are pushing for changes to the church. The Boleyns? Well, each one seems to have their own agenda, but Thomas and Anne are both pushing for an arranged marriage that would put the Princess Mary in a less than comfortable position.
The other universe finds us at a much earlier time in Henry's reign, 1518. He is a grieving widower, with nearly a two year old daughter and little ambition or drive for life. The King's lax involvement in politics has put Cardinal Wolsey in the perfect position; however, talks of rebellion may soon bring the King and Wolsey's reign to a violent end.
