[/b] Her voice was soft, but if he were nearby he would hear her. Her eyes were straining, trying to see if she could see him in the shadows. For all she knew he could be standing in the trees watching her, but her eyesight just couldn't make anything out in the dark of the forest, despite the moonlight that made it past the branches.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]The small blond fairy glanced around the dark streets of the Fairy Kingdom, slinking trough the shadows, holding the skirts of her dark blue dress up to prevent it from making noises as she stole through the streets. There were celebrations going on in the centre of the kingdom, but she didn't want to be seen by anyone, so she was slinking about in the dark, back streets. Her long, pale blond hair was hanging free down her back, and her green wings were folded delicately behind her back, though they fluttered every so often in the breeze.
If anyone saw her they would wonder what the Fairy princess was doing sneaking around the streets like a thief. Her green eyes kept shifting around, watching out for a sign that anyone was following her. As she drew closer and closer to the forest she began jumping at every sound, whether a laugh from far off in the kingdom, or the sounds of someone inside their home. It was obvious that whatever she was up to Lula didn't want anyone seeing her. She was someone with a secret, one she would rather die than tell.
Soon Lula found herself slipping out of the kingdom and into the calm night of the forest. Once she had slipped into the shadows of the trees the fairy found herself relaxing, feeling much calmer. SHe stole through the trees quietly and with ease, never once tripping over the hidden roots, despite the long skirts that swished around her feet. There was the occasional sound of a forest creature, but that didn't seem to concern the fairy. Lula knew this forest better than she knew the kingdom she had spent her whole life in. She knew all the trees, the flowers, and the creatures that lived in it. It had scared her a little as a child, but now the shadows no longer seemed ominous and hiding a threat, instead they were friendly and welcoming, and the moonlight that shone down through the tree branches lit the forest floor to silver.
Lula could have flown, but instead she took the time to walk through the forest, flying in the forest could be hazardous with the constant worry of tree branches. It would be faster walking unless she flew above the treetops, but then she would be risking being seen and she didn't want to test her luck. Lula had been lucky for a long time, but she wasn't going to risk getting caught now. The consequences weren't worth saving a few minutes. Eventually she slowed her pace, and bent down to brush a few leaves that clung to the hem of her skirts. Then standing back up again she walked the last few steps into a small sheltered clearing. She carefully sat down on a mossy rock at the edge of the clearing, her green eyes looking around, looking for someone. "Elarik?"
