Link leaned back, finally in the comfort of the forest. He leaned against the bank, looking at the water for a moment. From where he was, he could still hear the music of the fairy kingdom. Lately he had been sticking close to his home, hopefully another raging monster wouldn't bumble in during another nap in an attempt to eat him. Lucky late time that half elf was there, but he couldn't always depend on everyone, the god's won't always take pity on him. And during this war- he didn't want to get in any trouble that might cause the fairies to get into the problem (ha- go figure, since they are pretty much 5ft of useless). Not that it was clear that they wouldn't be involved in it at all in the first place.
He looked at the sky before leaning back, and laying on the bank next to the river casually. He wasn't tired, per se, but he wished for some sort of company, it seemed that no other species really enjoyed a fairy's company because they were so rowdy, and since he didn't like the attitude of constant partying that others had- he didn't really get along with them- and when he was in the castle his mother and sisters never fail to insist on pairing him up with someone. He was only seventeen! What was he going to do tied down at seventeen? He didn't like that idea, so he always seeked comfort in the trees of the enchanted forest where (supposedly) there were no monsters other then the animals that often lived inside it for the years that had passed.
Yawning, as usual, he started to nod off in his sleep, but like always, he was interrupted.

this moment is perfect - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Her bare feet falling softly on the needles of the forest floor, and her green wings folded behind her back delicately the beautiful fairy made her way through the forest. She had a book of plain paper and some bits of charcoal to draw with in her hand. Lula was looking for a quiet spot where she could work on sketches undisturbed, and that would have to be somewhere in the forest. The kingdom was always loud and crowded, due to the fairy people's love of parties and music.
The forest was where the fairy princess spent most of her time. She didn't care for the palace her family lived in, or the town centre where parties were held every night. Lula preferred the solitude and peace that the forest provided, she felt far more comfortable with nature than among the buildings of the kingdom. Nothing but her soft foot steps, the swish of her skirts, the bubbling of a stream and the occasional bird song fell upon her ears.
Soon the bubbling became a louder sound, as the stream became larger and turned into a creek, almost the size of a river. This was one of the spots she often came to in the forest, a very peaceful spot to work on her drawings. But today someone was already here. Her younger brother, Link, lay on the grassy bank apparently trying to sleep. She considered leaving him along to rest, but changed her mind. The two of them hadn't talked in a while, and Lula wanted to spend some time with her little brother. With their mother so busy with Lyra all the time she and Link should be getting closer, right?
"Hello baby brother,"
The fairy said with a laugh, moving to sit on the grassy bank next to him. She folded her skirts under her and set her papers and pieces of charcoal down. She ran her fingers through her long blond hair before folding her hands delicately in her lap. Her pale green wings opened up and lazily fanned out, catching the sunlight and making them nearly transparent. "What are you doing here?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - please don't go away notes: none tag: link words: 353
