Wil had taken care of everything he needed to in the stables already and with all his morning work done, he was set on heading down to the market to try and find something pretty to give to the Princess. He would not be able to buy some sparkling, expensive necklace for his lover but it was the thought that counted, right? Though he couldn't buy something extremely expensive, he had saved up just enough to get her something special, something that he hoped she would love. It pained him still that he could not be open with her and that they had to sneak around behind everyone's backs but it was all worth it. Their teenage love was real and it was one of the things that kept him dreaming and upbeat in life. He was going to take in all that he could of their time together, for he knew that someday she would be married off to some rich, noble man and never be able to live out her life with Wil.
The thought caused a frown on his face as he strolled along the crowded market, eying all sorts of elegant jewelry that was hanging in one of the merchant shops. One day, he hoped that he could afford to get her things like that, things that common people simply couldn't afford without starving for weeks on after. Passing through the more expensive section of the market, he made his way to where his people were comfortable. Reaching the more common area, he felt much more comfortable with those of his own status. While he spent much of his time around the Royals, there was no better feeling that being with the people that he grew up around, those that were practically family to the teenage boy. He gave a warm smile to a pudgy, balled merchant man as he strode up to one of the street side shops, his eyes falling on a stone necklace that was hanging.
"For yer lady me boy?" The large man asked, his smile showing off a few missing teeth. Wil chuckled softly and nodded as he pulled his small bag of coins from his pants. "You know me too well, Winthrop." He replied quietly and quickly opened the bag to grab out two of the gold coins that lay with the many silver and bronze pieces. "When're ye gonna introduce her to me? Is she a buxom beaut?" Wil wrinkled up his nose at the question and placed the coins in Winthrop's chubby hands. "When the time comes...and that is not for you to be thinking about you old geezer." He replied with a grin. The large man laughed and put the coins away before taking the necklace down and handing it over to Wil. "Keep er safe. An' let me know if she likes it, ye hear?" Wil nodded quickly and waved at his older friend before putting the necklace safely away inside his trousers. With the necklace checked off on his list, it was now time to buy his sisters a little something. I spoil them too much... He thought to himself as he began to browse the other items in the market, keeping his eyes open for anything his dear sisters would like.

Alayna was nothing like her siblings. They were all more than happy to be prince's or princess' of the forest while Alayna wished more than anything that she was just a normal warrior. Alayna hated the fact that she was heir to the throne. Though it would probably be a very long time before she would ever sit atop the throne it was still a measure that weighed heavily on her mind. Alayna did not want that kind of responsibility. She was a powerful woman, nothing like her mother and father but still high up there. Alayna was the commander of their military, Abalin and Ironaus trust her to no end and know that she will do a great job whenever they are in trouble. But that only adds to the stress and responsibility that rides on Alayna's shouldars. Alayna rides with her calvary with pride however when shes announced the crown princess of the Elves that is when Alayna freezes. She can rush into battle on her mighty stallion and never look back but shes terrified of running her own race. Alayna listens to what her father and mother have to say, they give the orders. While she may be a great leader when it comes to battle strategy Alayna was going by the general idea of what her parents were telling her to do. Alayna is the greatest of the army able to kill without a seconds hesitation.
Alayna was frustrated. There were men in her military that she believed could just not cut it. Alayna finally just couldnt take it anymore. Dressed in skin tight leather, her swords at her back and her daggers at her waist and ankle. Many stopped to ask her where she was going but Alayna didnt bother stopping. Her long brown hair flowed behind her as she moved to the pen where her prized stallion was kept. Everyone in the land knew the horse and if they didnt then they were idiots. Large and strong Navarano was the pride of the calvary and the pride of Alaynas heart. He needed a soft hand and a kind heart to keep him steady and Alayna was definetely the one for the job. Originally Nava was a gift for one of Alaynas younger brothers but he prooved to be way too much horse for him. Alayna knew how disappointed her father and brother were that her brother couldnt wield the mighty stallion but now Alayna didnt care. She trained him herself and a lot of it he got out of instinct. Alayna walked up to the gate and watched with pride as the large black Andalusian pranced around the pen until he finally walked up to her. Soft muzzle nuzzled right into Alaynas chest as she twiddled her fingers through his mane.Lets go for a ride. Taking him by the mane Alayna led him outside to where the tack were. Her tack was custom made black leather with silver buckles. Throwing the saddle upon his back Nava stood there perfectly still until the bridle was placed upon his head. Alayna was careful to make sure his mane and forlock didnt get caught in any of the buckles.
Mounting Nava immediately gave his head and nickered. Showing alayna that he was ready to go. Alayna pulled the cloak over her head and asked her young stallion to trot forward. Venturing through the woods Alayna knew that her mother wouldnt like it the second that Nava's hoof stepped outside the boundaries of the forest. Abalin hated the fact that Alayna put herself in danger a lot. While her father admired that about her. It was pretty obvious that she was her daddys girl. Emerging from the forest Alayna nudged her stallion into a gallop. A small smile appeared on her lips as a white blur emerged next to them. Yukon was always there ready to protect her even though she did not know he was there. Nava perked his ears at the white wolf but continued his stride without a second hesitation. It didnt take them long to reach the human market. The humans normally werent all that fond of the Elves much less Alayna herself. She believed the younger son to be a complete idiot and was not afraid to tell him so. Pity that he was such a baby. Dismounting Alayna let the reins hang on his neck and didnt have to take them in her hand for him to follow right behind her. Stepping carefully to keep from kicking her. Yukon on her left side staying close. Even though her hood was still on she could see that some people were looking at her with curiosity and some fear. Those who recognized the trio knew who she was. But she also knew that no one would dare do anything. She was the head of her military for a reason. Reaching a particular booth Alayna smiled when she saw the old man talking to a much younger boy. Sharp eyes saw the calluses on his hands and the smell of horse sweat and manure told ehr that he was a stable boy. Nava and Yukon stood calmly a few steps back as Alayna looked through the jewelry. Though accidently Alayna brushed hands with the young men as she went to pick up a necklace that he too was going to pick up. The vision of a young girl, ah the young princess. Immediately swept to her head. Sometimes this thing caught her off gaurd. Watching the young man walk off an idea came to her head. She knew the young princess and knew that this young man loved her very much. Though they could never be together. Maybe Alayna could help with that. Turning sharply Alayna snapped her fingers and her animals were at her side in an instant. Alayna slowed when she reached the young mans side. The young princess would like that dearly. But she doesnt need gifts to show her how much you love her. She said simply.

A smile was present on Wil's face as he moved through the market. It had been a good while since he had actually saved up enough to get his lady something nice. He usually brought her flowers frequently, ones that he picked himself but he always felt that she deserved more than just a bunch of common flowers from a nearby meadow. She was a Princess. She deserved jewels and gems and jewelry of all kind, yet all he could get her was a simple white stone necklace. The smile faded as the realization hit him hard. He could never be the man that she needed and he knew that he would have to fully accept that one day when she was married off to some rich noble man that was probably three times her age. It soured his stomach to think about her being with anyone else, especially some smelly old man. With the mood ruined, he trudged slowly through the market, his mind wondering just what lucky man would be the Princess' husband in the future.
"The young princess would like that dearly. But she doesn't need gifts to show her how much you love her."
The words caught him off guard and it took him a moment to realize that the woman beside him was speaking to him. His face drained of all the color that was there and his throat suddenly felt as if it was closing up completely. How did the woman know? He couldn't afford to have anyone know. If the King found out, Wil would have surely been in some very deep trouble. Prison was probably likely but he was sure that he wouldn't have his job any longer which meant his family would likely starve. With a worried look upon his face, he slowed his pace, his eyes locked on the woman that had spoken. "...How do you know?" He questioned lowly, the worried look plastered on his face as he spoke. He hadn't told anyone about the Princess and he was quite sure that she had kept her mouth shut as well about their relationship, so how could the woman have known about their romance? "Please...I beg of you, do not tell anyone."
[/color] he asked, his voice making it very clear that he could not afford to have anyone else finding out about the late night meet ups with the lovely Princess. Nervously, he ran a hand through his hair, the thought of going to prison weighing heavily on his young mind.
